Founded by Lee Wright in 2014, Fourthwright Design & Construction are an Oxfordshire based, design and construction business providing a complete solution from dreams to development.
Lee
Founder, Director & Passive House Designer
Working in the family construction business from a young age, Lee developed a passion for good craftsmanship and high-quality design. With this mind Lee embarked on a course at Glamorgan University, graduating with a first-class honours degree in product design. A heritage in construction drew Lee back into the family business and whilst working for his father, Lee completed a distance learning degree in quantity surveying. Allowing him to accurately cost plans, understand contracts and manage projects from beginning to end.
Lee has taken the opportunity to go full circle and return to his design roots. Not content with current construction standards and wanting to achieve better, Lee has decided to align the business with a construction methodology based on quality and detail by gaining certification as a Passive House designer. This means Fourthwright can advise clients on the best approach to achieving their sustainability objectives right from the start, then model, cost and deliver that vision using the tried and tested Passive House principles.

Director
The acquisition of Tom to the business provided a huge advantage, allowing the company to benefit from experience he gained through running large projects in his previous position. His dedication to the cause and desire to create something above and beyond the ordinary were rewarded with a directorship in 2021.
In the years following the conception of Fourthwright Lee has grown and shaped a team from individuals with quality, passion and creativity at their heart. Working closely with Architects, Subcontractors and Suppliers that share our same ethos is also important to us. Along the way we have built friendships with these people who we can rely on and are just as much part of the team. With these core values we have proved time and time again that we can deliver quality builds, with a strengthening team who an eye on the future.
